About the Author

For the past year, Diana Barraza has exchanged the sunny and traffic-congested streets of Los Angeles for the quieter bustle of Edinburgh, Scotland–a city of theatre, literature, and yes, Harry Potter.  She is inching closer to getting her MSc in Literature & Transatlanticism (No, that does not mean Master of Scotland). Thus far, her experiences are categorized by privilege, cosmopolitanism, and not surprisingly, sacrifice.
